All it takes is one bad day to have your life changed forever. In Steven Paschall’s case, a stroke on the morning of February 14th, 2016 took his control of his left arm and hand away from him. Steven’s life changed forever when an event out of his control cost him the use of his dominant hand. Dealing with the stress of losing functionality as well as being unable to take part in his favorite hobby of gaming, Steven turned to Twitch to reconnect with the gaming community. One of the streamers that Steven was subscribed to told him about AbleGamers. He reached out to see what the charity could do for him.
“I really had my doubts that anything could help me at first, but then they helped me step by step, and they make it personal with you! If you’re not happy, neither are they!!”, Steven told us. “They even made a couple of videos showing me how to play with my lips and it worked!! They sent me a special controller that you can see in the video, plus two prequel games to go with the game that I already had!!”
